Communication is at the very basis of human interaction and organisational activity, which is why the need for good communication skills is crucial for all professions. It has become increasingly important to have clear and well organised communicational strategies that build and affect both internal and external frameworks of organisations and companies. The aim of the 3rd Annual Communication Conference is to maintain the network and connection between industry and academia in order to ensure mutual understanding between the two, as well as giving students the opportunity to learn more about professions in the communications field.

We are a group of enthusiastic and motivated communicators and students of Master in Communication (MiC) at the University of Gothenburg.
In a globalized world, competence in intercultural communication is a required skill. Moreover, media and new technologies have been considerably integrated into modern human life, shaping the way we interact and perceive the world. Within an organizational context, it is essential to have transparent and clear communicational frameworks. The aim of the MiC programme is to analyse all of these issues through the theoretical studies as well as practical experience in the field.Â
As MiC students, we are eager to develop our knowledge about the field of professional communication. We believe that developing and maintaining a network between the industry and our department will not only enrich our education, but will open possibilities to benefit both sides.
